We are hiring a Powder Tech – 3rd Shift. The Powder Tech – 3rd Shift will be responsible for the weighing and filling of powder containers, labeling, case packaging, label accountability, and quarantine of powder finished goods.

Responsibilities:
• Performs inspection of raw materials and packaging supplies for the lot; only stages the quantity of each item as per the product BOM. • Set up scales, calibrates and documents weighing equipment.• Performs and documents line clearance at the start of each packaging event • Performs and documents label verification prior to each labeling event; completes and documents label reconciliation post packaging • Assembles buckets, boxes, bottles for packaging• Reviews weigh tapes for correct weight of each package and QC sample; • Weighs every container following lot folder and pertinent SOPs.• Fills out all documentation real-time, accurately and legibly. • Maintains clean and orderly work area and performs necessary housekeeping duties.• Assures that correct number of samples at the correct weight are collected and logged into QC.• Assures packaged product is palletized; identified and shrink wrapped per SOP and stored in the proper storage location• Assures that all logbooks are maintained and that all required documentation is properly filled out in a timely manner.• Reviews the schedule ahead of time and performs timely staging of required materials.• Suggests changes in departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).• Performs other duties as requested by Lead or Supervisor.
Experience/ Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.• Knowledge of Metric System.• Ability to understand current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).• Good work history.• Ability to speak, write, and read English fluently.• Good oral and written communication skills.
