Full Circle Health (formerly the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Purpose

The Pharmacy Technician (PT) is an important team member supporting the Pharmacy Services department, which is essential for achieving the dual mission of Full Circle Health. The Pharmacy Technician practices in accordance with laws, regulations, and professional and ethical standards which govern the profession. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. Our Pharmacy Technicians for assist our pharmacist in filling prescriptions and helping patients in person or on the phone.

The PT works closely with the staff pharmacists as well as team members from the Nursing, Reception, and Billing departments.

Expected Work Hours

Hours vary between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday and 1-2 Saturday shifts per month from 9am-1pm.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Experience:

  • Pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification:

  • Current State of Idaho Pharmacy Technician license at hire.
  • Certified Technician license required within 18 months of hire.

Credentialing:

  • Meets established Credentials Committee requirements for Pharmacy Technician scope of practice including fully credentialed, licensed and privileged as well as the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Other:

  • Our organization is a tobacco-free workplace; qualified applicants must complete a tobacco / nicotine free attestation prior to employment.
  • We require immunizations for all staff to include COVID-19 vaccine and an annual influenza vaccine as a requisite for employment. Newly hired staff must be fully vaccinated before joining our organization. Newly hired staff who are not able to be vaccinated due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs must apply for vaccination exemption prior to employment.
