What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Manager position at Full House Resorts?
Essential job duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of all Bar Department operations.
- Responsible for all ordering and inventory management of all bar stock including managing the liquor and wine inventory.
- Develops cocktail menus including costing and sales.
- Responds to all customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Manages FOH Bar staff, as well as ensure quality and timeliness of service.
- Performs all typical bartending duties always providing the highest level of customer service. This includes regularly covering complete day and night shifts and weekends and holidays.
- Assists with shift movement while abiding by the bartender and culinary CBA.
-Trains and manage all FOH and BOH employees on service standards and guest interactions in order to ensure the best customer experience.
- Attends frequent meetings with the Food & Beverage Director.
-Sources and trains staff to best fit the Bars’ needs by developing training programs, mentoring, scheduling, rewarding and disciplining staff and completing performance reviews. Monitors that all scheduled staff have reported to work and makes schedule adjustments for proper coverage as needed.
- Schedules staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the business.
- Builds good relationships with vendors to help forecast efficiently and effectively.
- Builds good relationships with the regulatory authorities such as DOG, Health Inspector, and Liquor Enforcement.
- Maintains a clean & safe environment at all times and trains and manages staff to do the same.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
$55,000 annually based on experience
