The Role: As a key leader on our Creative Team, the Creative Producer will play an integral role in developing compelling, on-brand content and assets that engage stakeholders and consumers across all of Fur’s channels. This individual will provide logistical and administrative guidance and support to the creative team as they develop multi-channel creative work to effectively stand apart from competitors and lead in the saturated beauty and skin care industry.
Projects will include seasonal and evergreen asset refreshes, product launch campaigns, digital marketing and e-comm strategies for both direct to consumer and wholesale business channels, product and packaging development, asset creation and management supporting experiential and in-person events and tradeshows, visual merchandising to support our brick and mortar retailers and salon partners, and other supplementary creative projects. Additionally as part of a dynamic team, the creative producer will also maintain day to day copywriting and design accountabilities to support the overall success of the Creative Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Project management: Manage and prioritize a wide range of active and upcoming cross-functional projects by confidently defining scope, timelines, milestones, staffing needs, budgets, feedback and deliverables; tracking progress; understanding dependencies and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Manage and lead eCommerce, campaign and seasonal photo and video production. This includes managing budgets, contacting and hiring photographers, videographers, retouchers and editors, creating schedules, communicating with Marketing, Finance, eCommerce stakeholders channels, Operations and creative team members to ensure digital and print needs are met, seeing that deadlines are met, and delivering final assets to proper stakeholders on schedule.
- Manage printer and vendor relationships, sourcing printers and vendors for eventing and special objects for mailers, parties, collateral etc.
- Own annual budgets for creative projects for both Fur You (direct to consumer) channel and the Fur Professionals wholesale channels, consistently partnering with Finance and leadership team members to scale resources to fit the needs of the business appropriately
- Create specifications, guidelines and workflow for cross-functional stakeholders to adhere to for requesting, briefing, and providing feedback for creative work
- Using asana, manage daily creative workflow to fulfill e-comm promos, via email marketing, homepage updates, packaging and collateral design
- Troubleshoot and improve upon existing processes as they see fit, such as internal photo shoot planning, equipment rentals, creative resource management, asana task management, weekly meeting optimization and holistic time management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4 years of creative production and project management and experience; expert knowledge of Google suite, slack, asana, Excel, Dropbox
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading photo and video shoots; knowledge and understanding of the full cycle from conception to post-production
- Experience stewarding brand identity for an omni-channel company; experience in beauty, cosmetics, and/or consumer packaged goods highly preferred
- This individual has an entrepreneurial spirit and thinks like an owner as they have an opportunity to create an impact on Fur’s holistic culture and success
