Job Overview:

We are a modern Japanese fusion restaurant seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity in menu planning, along with strong leadership skills to manage kitchen operations effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including menu creation, food production, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervision
- Coordinate catering events and special functions
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement cost-effective recipes and portion controls
- Collaborate with restaurant management to achieve business goals

Experience:

- Proven experience in food handling, catering, and restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks efficiently
- Experience in shift management and maintaining kitchen operations
- Proficiency in menu planning and creating innovative dishes
- Background in hospitality industry preferred
