Position Summary
The Safety Manager provides and oversees the safety of the Company and its subsidiaries. Updating/developing policies and procedures to keep the company and its subsidiaries in compliance with all applicable Local, Environmental, Federal and State regulations.

Responsibilities
- Develops, assists, plans and implements Environmental/safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ,Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Advise management on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
- Plans and implements training for employees in work site safety practices.
- Maintains safety files and records
- Performs JSA’s, safety/environmental surveys, and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
- Conducts post-accident investigations and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and management.
- Conduct training
- Ensure OSHA logs are completed accurately and posted according to the OSHA recordkeeping regulation (29 CFR 1904)
- Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues
- Ensure equipment and employee compliance with all DOT, safety, and environmental laws and policies.
- Serve as a liaison with outside regulatory agencies
- Communicate changes in laws, policies, processes, and procedures to employees
- Provide Safety training as required, including New Hire Orientation and Safety meetings
- Manage and regularly audit driver Pre-Trip inspections to ensure compliance
- Ensure effective communication with field supervisors, office staff, and company management to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Ensure compliance with all Company and DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy testing requirements
- Manage all vehicle and trailer Inspections, Registrations, Permits, and Insurance requirements.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry as well as Utility industry
- Equipment and electrical specifications a plus
- Proficient verbal and written communication
- Able to be flexible as job demands
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions
- Willingness to be on call, work overtime, Weekends, Holidays and Travel on Short notice

Pay: $76,684.00 - $132,234.00 per year
