A prominent insurance defense firm in Tampa is seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury Defense Attorney. The role includes defending and deposing medical experts and other parties, attending court hearings, mediations, trials, and client meetings. Responsibilities also involve drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, suit reports, and managing discovery responses.

Qualifications:

• Active, in-good-standing member of the Florida Bar.
• Proven experience in medical malpractice or personal injury defense.
• Strong client service skills and commitment to excellence.
• Highly organized with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills with strong academic credentials.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Preferred: Familiarity with medical issues and federal and state healthcare laws.
