As Assistant Director, you will be leading a team that is passionate about thoroughly preparing their students for all the challenges that lie ahead. You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of the center as well as the educational development of the children.

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all the position requirements, including:

• Be a fun, bright, enthusiastic, adaptable and hard-working person.
• Be able to establish positive, respectful, and professional relationships with co-workers, children and their families.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) completed (Staff Credential).
• Florida’s Director Credential or willingness to obtain Director Credential within 90 days of employment.
• At least three years of administrative experience in early childhood (preschool / childcare) education programs, including program management, curriculum design, staff hiring and supervision of staff with evidence of strong leadership skills and the ability to form positive relations with parents and staff.
• Be familiar with APPLE standards or equivalent.
• Fluent English is required.
• Bilingual (English - Spanish) is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
