Preschool Director

Imagination Station Preschool, a ministry of the Pink Church in Pompano Beach, is looking for an experienced Director to become part of our team dedicated to nurturing and educating children from 18 months to PK4. Imagination Station has been providing exceptional Christ-centered preschool education for almost 30 years.

This is a full-time position.

Qualifications:

· A maturity of faith in Jesus Christ

· Florida Directors Credential with VPK Endorsement (required)

· Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field

· Prior child care director or assistant director experience

· Knowledge of licensing requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Supervise the day-to-day operations and administration of the preschool

· Maintain a healthy and safe environment for the children

· Ensure preschool is properly staffed with high-performing, enthusiastic, and dedicated teachers

· Oversee and assist the preschool staff in administering, planning and evaluating activities and lesson plans that promote developmentally-appropriate learning

· Ensure all staff meet current requirements for hiring, including fingerprinting, background checks, CPR/First Aid certification, required coursework and appropriate yearly CEUs

· Actively train, coach, and engage with staff to maintain a high level of engagement

· Work closely with parents to nurture and support their child’s educational journey

· Prepare and manage an annual budget for the school

· Maintain student and personnel files in accordance with applicable regulations

· Ensure compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations

· Work collaboratively with the church staff to promote the vision and mission of the Pink Church

· Actively engage with the Administrator of our K-8 school to foster a seamless transition from PK4 to Kindergarten

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
