We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Account Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing financial transactions, entering orders into our internal system (built on QuickBase), processing invoices, opening purchase orders, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires effective communication with vendors, and district stakeholders, and collaboration with fellow account clerks and program staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, OneDrive, and Excel, is essential.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Westbury, NY. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30a -4:00p.

Responsibilities:
- Enter orders accurately into the internal system (QuickBase) and ensure data integrity.
- Process invoices and maintain a systematic approach to financial transactions.
- Open and manage purchase orders, keeping track of expenditures and budgets.
- Track software purchases through the organization and coordinate with vendors.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, district stakeholders, and program staff.
- Collaborate with other account clerks and program staff for streamlined processes.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with specific expertise in Outlook, OneDrive, and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Account Clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with specific knowledge of Outlook, OneDrive, and Excel.
- Familiarity with internal systems, particularly QuickBase, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of financial processes and budget tracking.
