What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refresh Technician II position at Future Tech Enterprise, Inc.?
We have an opening for a Refresh Technician II at our customer location in Indianapolis, IN. The primary function of this position will be to clean / wipe, reimage / configure and upgrade laptop and desktop computers.
This is an on-site temporary job opening that is expected to last 6-8 months.
Work Schedule is Monday - Friday; 8a -5p
Please note: U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Responsibilities for this position may include:
- Computer Imaging (Windows 11 OS, Core apps, Antivirus, etc.)
- Software Installation
- Examining materials received, verifying part numbers and checking discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.
- Unpacking and setting up PCs (laptops and desktops) to initiate the configuration process.
- Movement of computers from staging area out to user locations
- Performing post-imaging tasks such as renaming and joining the system to a domain.
- Mapping printers and installing Print drivers and/or other drives as necessary.
- Transfer of data and user profiles from old to new PCs
- Basic troubleshooting and repairing laptops and desktops that are not operational upon receipt.
Requirements:
- 3-5 yrs. technical experience with refreshing Windows PCs in an enterprise environment
- Must be familiar with Windows 10 OS including drive mapping, printer setup and driver installation
- Familiar with SCCM
- Ability to troubleshoot any unforeseen technical issues
- Excellent Communication
- US Citizenship
