We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to help us align our organization's mission with our talent acquisition, maintenance & legal strategy. You are an HR Strategist in the areas of; Employee Relations, Legal Compliance, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward & Recognition. You will help us implement, maintain & improve our HR systems and manage the HR budget.

- Experience with Federal, state & local legal requirements
- CHRO or SHRM Certified
Responsibilities:
- Lead all functions related to HR for 60 total employees (and growing!)
- This position provides an opportunity to impact the culture of our rapidly growing organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO & President, and Executive leadership team on all aspects of Human Resources policies.
- Develop and implement a visionary and robust HR strategy to advance company's employee-focused culture while fostering an empowered workforce
- Develop and lead the HR department constantly striving to achieve outstanding customer service, continual improvement, and operational effectiveness of the organization
- Implement effective development programs that prepare employees for career advancement through skill specific training, education, and performance evaluation
- Develop comprehensive total rewards programs that motivate, empower, and incentivize optimal performance from the team
- Design, develop, and implement talent management systems, tools, and processes to foster a performance-based culture and drive continuous improvement
- Establish credibility with leadership, and throughout the organization as an effective leader, strategic thinker, collaborator, problem solver, and over-arching trusted advisor
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff
- Manage day-to-day operations of the HR team, ensuring security and accuracy of employee records and compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws, and FWDThink's employee handbook
- Provide leadership, support and expert advice and counsel to regional management teams
- Ensures processes, policies and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively
- Oversees the management of unemployment and workers compensation claims
- Coordinates the timely completion of government reports (EEO-1, AAP, VETS 4212, OSHA, etc.)
- Develops and disseminates employee communication regarding HR related programs
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management
- Minimum of 10 years experience in human resources
Salary : $140,000 - $165,000
