The Opportunity
The Billing Analyst works within the Accounts Receivable team to invoice clients to specialized contract terms. This role requires a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and an ability to handle a high volume of accounts. The Billing Analyst will need to maintain positive relationships with clients, our Internal Partners, and the Collections team. The role will be supporting our customers and Collection agents in resolving account issues preventing payment. This role is primarily focused on new projects, recurring contracts, administrative functions, and invoicing. The Billing Analyst is not a Management Position.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting up new project contracts in the system for invoicing
- Analysing contract terms and special accommodations for contractual requirements
- Submitting customer requests to cancel services for review/retention efforts.
- Reviewing accounts for credit memo application.
- Working with Customer Success and Collection Analysts to clarify billing requirements preventing payments.
- Maintain account information, update as needed or requested
- Maneuver through multiple systems for invoicing
- Work with our internal partners for needs of a new contract/project to ensure billing success
- Troubleshoot systems related issues when they arise, present to managers and Business Intelligence.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients regardless of current project status.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
Candidate Expertise Required
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Strong Communications Skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct large volume of communication with clients and internal partners
- Strong Organizational Skills Required
- Detail Oriented
- Intermediate Excel
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Strong Computer Skills, comfortable working in cloud systems for a full workday
Soft Skills/ Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience with Open Air
- Experience with Netsuite
Compensation range: $45,000 - $55,000
