What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Site Lead position at G&H Pets LLC?
YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE...
- Implement the IT presence at the plant within the first 30 days
- Implement a new network (Cisco Meraki) within the first 60 days
- Work with vendors to set up hardwire connections
- Assist in the implementation of ERP within the first 45 days
- Lead the IT support for the manufacturing plant; must be available to be on-call for off-shift issues or emergencies
- Collaborate with IT team members from other sites on various projects
- Ensure all employee IT equipment and services are in working order, including Macs, Windows desktops and laptops, IOS devices, printers, wireless networks and audiovisual systems
- Act as the first point for IT needs; track issues and take ownership of problems and see through to resolution; escalate issues to vendors when necessary to resolve issues as quickly as possible
- Anticipate problems users might encounter and address proactively; continually monitor and assess system requirements
- Proactively manage any planned changes or upgrades; provide communication to those impacted and confirm everything works when changes are completed
- Recommend hardware and software installations, including new product acquisitions and upgrades
- Provide technical support and maintenance for conference rooms, collaborative workspaces and offices utilizing audiovisual systems
- Support the onsite security and camera system for the facility
- Manage the local ticket system and assist employees with tickets, including being on-call for off-shift issues or emergencies
- Set up new hires/terminations in applicable applications including ERP, WMS systems
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE...
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field
- 5-7 years in an IT support function
- Previous food industry experience is preferred
- Experience working with cloud-based environments
