Job Duties:
- Sells, orders, delivers, stocks, rotates, displays and maintains all products at customer locations according to established standards.
- Maintains a good working relationship with: customers and consumers at customer locations; account and area managers at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).
- Invoices customers for sales; collects money.
- Communicates with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that may arise in the store.
- Maintains customer’s product inventory by ordering and delivering the appropriate amount of product needed to satisfy customer’s needs until the next scheduled delivery.
- Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, sales summaries, mileage and merchandising logs); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, promotions and other sensitive information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Candidates must obtain a temporary Commercial Driver's License permit, with a Class A and air brakes endorsement prior to first day of employment. Must pass and obtain a Commercial Driver's License, with a Class A and air brakes endorsement within 60 days from hire date.
- Employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
- 6-12 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds manually in a repetitive motion; up to 300 pounds using a hand cart; and up to 2000 pounds mechanically
