G2 is currently looking to expand our LAX team- hiring Customer Service/Bag Runner Agents for our terminal operations.
G2 Secure Staff employs over 6,00 aviation service professionals at 54 top traveled airports throughout the US. Providing reliable, professional aviation service solutions ranging from ground handling services such as cabin cleaning, to customer assistance services, and security solutions. This broad range of aviation solutions enable our clients to maintain quality while maximizing operational efficiencies.
LAX G2 CSA/Bag Runner- is responsible for assisting the airline ticket counter staff with the loading of passenger luggage onto the conveyer belt and spacing out luggage to prevent prevent luggage jams on the conveyor belt. The bag runner will safely transport oversized passenger luggage from the ticket counter to TSA for screening and processing. Examples of oversized, unusually shaped luggage may include skis, pet kennels, musical instruments, audio/visual equipment, medical equipment, medical devices, and strollers. The bag runner must adhere to all airport and government policies and regulations.
- Transport luggage from ticket counter to TSA for pre-board screening
- Assist ticket counter staff and skycaps in lifting heavy/oversized luggage and transporting to TSA for pre-board screening
- Retrieve luggage after TSA clearance and place on bag belt in timely manner to ensure that all checked baggage is loaded on departing aircraft
- Work in baggage claim area and bag room by loading/unloading luggage into baggage claim areas and into bag carts for departures
- Answer questions and direct passengers to food/restroom and other airport areas
- Assist with disabled/elderly passengers transportation within the airport
Skillsets/Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience within previous airport and/or customer service experience required
- Previous baggage handling experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older required
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation

Requirements:
- Must be able to work inside and/or outside in all weather conditions if requested. (Mostly indoor work)
- Treat all information as confidential.
- Poses the tact to deal effectively with Clients, Passengers, Employees and the Public.
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, and/or hold at least 70 lbs.
- Physical exam may be required to confirm above.
- Must be able to perceive colors to match tags.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
- Must complete a criminal background check.
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English both verbal and written.
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge.
- Must be able to verbally direct in English.
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
