Within GA Telesis, the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is a single-source solution to all supply chain, logistics, and maintenance needs. FSG is seeking a
Junior Airframe Product Line Manager to join its well-known and high-impact team to manage all aspects of the product life cycle including the development of product availability, sales, and marketing, prior to being made available for distribution. Reporting to the Sourcing Manager the Airframe Solutions Group, the ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline driven, and possess analytical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of coordination, project management, communication, and marketing for product line needs
- Ensure appropriate presentation, specifications, competitive positioning, and any other related product documentation to support the sale of the product
- Deliver profitable products and solutions to the market that meet current or future market requirements, exceed ROI objectives, and are introduced in a timely fashion
- Define clear business plans integrating company core competencies, time to market, product costs, channels, and competition
- Coordinate development priorities to meet both long and short-term revenue objectives
- Prioritize and balance investment in sustaining engineering, development, and strategic investment
- Ensure business inputs are complete and representative
- Oversee all day-to-day business needs as it pertains to product management.
Qualifications
- 1 years' experience with Boeing and Airbus airframe sales, purchasing, and/or product line management
- Intermediate to expert level MS Excel skills (ex. Pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Direct experience managing resources, forecasting marketability, determining demand, and overcoming sales barriers
- Good presentation skills and the ability to read technical drawings and analyze IPCs
- Understanding of product line management processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-cultural, cross-geography, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in managing aviation products through the complete life cycle preferred
- Experience with Salesforce and Quantum preferred
