What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at GAINSystems?
GAINSystems is looking for a creative, analytical, and results-driven leader who will thrive in a fast-paced environment to lead, develop, and execute our growth-focused marketing programs. The Director will have the opportunity to build the foundation of a successful and high-achieving Marketing team at GAINS. The ideal candidate will understand all aspects of marketing and have experience within supply chain software industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute marketing strategy roadmap and initiatives that support our overall goals.
- Oversee the research efforts to identify new prospects and qualify those prospects for subsequent business development outreach efforts to fuel pipeline growth.
- Manage the business development and ABM strategy to generate interested prospects that are ready for sales follow-up.
- Lead the strategy and implementation of events including trade shows, user conference and seminars.
- Provide regular reporting on program KPIs to ensure optimal return on marketing investments and pipeline growth opportunities for top of the funnel, mid-funnel and bottom of the funnel.
- Contribute to the annual marketing planning and budgeting process.
- Work closely with the leadership team to build positioning, messaging, branding, marketing strategy, and creative direction while defining target audiences.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a marketing team that is responsible for the tactical execution of marketing roadmap and initiatives.
- Collaborate cross functionally to drive and achieve marketing priorities.
- Define and Manage marketing analytics and reporting.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for any new products.
- Possess a growth mindset and the ability to be strategic as well as do the tactical execution of initiatives.
- Develop the Marketing Prospect Funnel steps & associated metrics to guide leads from identification through sales qualification.
The Ideal Marketer Will Have:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, advanced degree is an advantage
- Requires a minimum 8 – 10 years of related experience
- 3-5 years’ experience leading, hiring, and developing a team of direct reports
- Experience implementing Account Based Marketing and Customer Marketing program
- Past experience with Salesforce CRM and Pardot preferred
- Background in the B2B supply chain software industry is required
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation development and delivery skills are required
- Demonstrated success planning and proven execution skills are required
- Leader & doer – no job is too big or too small
- Knowledge in Pragmatic Marketing is a plus
