Your role in our mission

Gainwells Provider Relations Representatives are the liaison between the VT Medicaid provider community and the State of Vermonts agencies.

As a VT Medicaid subject matter expert, its the Provider Reps responsibility for the following :

Provider Rep Responsibilities :

• Assist all providers within assigned counties
• Answer provider questions regarding VT Medicaid billing, policies, procedures, etc.
• Proactive outreach that includes :
• New provider engagement
• Weekly high denial review
• Active known issues as assigned
• Returned claims review
• Provider visits (virtual or on-site as requested)
• Monthly Webinars to the provider community
• Assist state agencies as requested
• Manage escalations from other Gainwell departments
• Manage group provider inbox on rotation
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• Background in healthcare claim administration
• Knowledge of healthcare billing processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills, Proactive thinker, Self-starter, and Motivated
• Problem Solver, Time management skills, Multi-tasker and Presentation skills
• Team player

What you should expect in this role

• HYBRID position
• Some training on site, and one day / week on-site regularly.

The pay range for this position is $43,800.00 - $62,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
