Gale Healthcare Solutions is currently seeking RNs with OR experience to join our rapidly growing network of clinicians for per diem shift opportunities.
General Responsibilities:- Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
- Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
- Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
- Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
- Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
- Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
- Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious materia
- Current unencumbered compact RN License or RN License in the state of assignment
- At least 2-years of recent experience as a Licensed RN in a hospital or acute setting
- COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination with satisfactory proof of exemption
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Immunizations/Titers (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, Negative TB, etc.)
- Physical/Statement of Health, FIT Test, NIHSS, etc.
