The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and creating and enforcing company policies and practices, ensuring compliance to federal, state and local regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, development, and succession planning.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants
- Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent; administer the benefit programs such as; healthcare, HRA, FSA, dental, medical. Administer payroll process and recordkeeping.
- ·Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Maintain all Human Resource related records, including a separate file for personnel records, benefit records, employee disciplinary records, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Participate in Safety Committee
- The position supports up to a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work is expected to be completed primarily on-site.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience in a manufacturing or related field at an organization with greater than 100 employees required.
- 7 plus years’ human resources management experience.
- PHR or SPHR is highly desired.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
