Position Summary:
Primarily focused on delivering digital marketing program strategy, this role manages marketing platforms, such as automation, which includes optimizing system functionality and security, driving best practices, and oversight of elements relating to lead capture, email communications, lead scoring, nurturing, and recycling.The Digital Marketing Project Manager supports various Digital Marketing teams by owning all incoming digital requests assuring seamless movement through internal workflows & processes, are delivered on time and in high quality. This role collaborates often with the Art Account Management team on projects that cross over the two departments and will be heavily involved in the use and refinement of our Project Management tool, Workfront. The Digital Marketing Project Manager works closely with the Digital Marketing team, internal stakeholders and Art Account Managers to balance workloads and meet all project deadlines, perform project tracking and reporting, and assure proper completion of requests (such as image size verification, ticket completeness, document uploads, etc.).
Key responsibilities involve:
Defining and driving strategy, roadmap, and execution of all initiatives.
Serving as internal SME relative to compliance, best practices, data integrity, etc.
Developing and evaluating KPIs to improve programs, as well as our customer acquisition and retention efforts.
Working with internal clients to define and implement programs in a flexible and timely manner that meet business objectives and maximize ROI.
Manages incoming digital project requests and consults with digital teams and Art Account Manager(s) to prioritize projects and apply SLAs to client requests.
Enforces adherence of procedures and guidelines for workflow processes and deadlines to ensure standardized approach and delivery.
In coordination with Art Account Managers, develops and maintains project management guidelines/best practices/process documentation with the goal of continuous improvement.
Manages the full internal flow of assigned projects to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery of projects to account leads to meet deadlines.
Produces and communicates accurate status and metric reports by maintaining workload data and traffic activities.
Helps avoid delays in client feedback by utilizing reminders as well as proactively escalating and addressing issues where timelines are in jeopardy or other information is needed for the team to proceed.
Maintains strong working relationships with other departments to ensure open lines of communication regarding priorities, requirements, and status.
Extensive experience with job tracking software or project management systems. WorkFront preferred along with additional experience in Trello and Smartsheets.
Prior project management experience managing multiple, multifaceted digital campaigns including landing page requirements and single or multiple emails that may span multiple months and require edits or updates along the way
Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Required:
Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
Ability to define and implement workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle.
Desired:
BA or BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years relevant project management experience in a marketing or agency setting working with a digital team.
Success in this role requires a strong vision of how to optimally implement Marketing Automation Platforms (Silverpop, Marketo, Pardot, etc.), including the ability to configure and build out functionality of the platform.Previous familiarity/direct experience managing a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce)
