Position Summary:
The Director, Partnership Marketing will have key responsibilities for Gallagher’s sports & entertainment partnership marketing plans and activations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Operations & Analytics, who is responsible for the overall Partnership Marketing strategy and will lead partnership opportunity sourcing and due diligence, this role will be responsible for leading all aspects of partnership marketing activations. This position will lead execution across numerous functions and in accordance with objectives, further develop and refine the partnership strategy, and support assist in identifying and validating opportunities, as needed. The role will work closely with Gallagher business divisional and regional sales and marketing leaders to ensure that partnerships continue to succeed as brand building, business development and community engagement platforms.
Highly instrumental marketing role in shaping the company narrative and activating brand assets (sponsorships, etc.) This position partners with key stakeholders including executives, sponsorship groups, division marketing, public relations, brand and creative teams among others, to maximize and activate Gallagher’s partnership assets by both building out activation functions and developing and implementing a content strategy that captivates and drives engagement with Gallagher’s various audience segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the creation and development of the partnership marketing plan (short and long-term)
- Managing and maximizing Gallagher sponsorship investments through activation programs designed to raise awareness and deliver ROI.
- Setting and continually managing project and partnership expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
- Serving as the editorial director for major partnership marketing initiatives, establishing plans and overseeing content development that advances business objectives.
- Utilizes sponsorships and industry expertise for strategic storytelling narratives to further business-building opportunities.
- Drives business and brand awareness through the ability to conceptualize and create targeted content.
- Works with analytics team to create strategic content based on incoming audience intelligence.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years of experience managing partnership activation and content marketing programs.
- Experience working with global teams, external partners, agencies, creative teams and other vendors.
- Well-rounded partnership and content marketing director familiar with B2B activation and content campaigns.
- Ability to define and implement sponsorship and content marketing programs within a marketing/sales cycle.
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation.
