Responsibilities
Objective:
Oversee the Salvage Process from initial pick up to sale of Total Loss vehicles; This involves the need for outstanding organization, detailed work and multitasking. You will report to the Total Loss / Salvage department supervisor and work directly with Salvage Dept lead, total loss, claims staff, customers, lienholders and Pronto’s salvage vendors.
JOB DESCRIPTION: SALVAGE PROCESS SPECIALIST
Job Details:
- Employment Status: Full Time
- Job Location: Brownsville, TX
- Starting Pay: Based on experience
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assign pick up of non-driveable vehicles to salvage facility
- Review incoming required paperwork to ensure it is correct
- Communicate with the adjusters on total loss paperwork and towing
- Work with Salvage vendors to sell vehicles at highest return percent
- Assist with the follow up of required paperwork
- Assist in negotiating storage fees.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School or GED Required.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Customer service experience
- Good keyboard skills
- Planning and Organizational Skills
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
