Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including Bulldozers, Wheel Loaders and Skid steers. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

· Operate heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Wheel Loaders and Skid steers.

· Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

· Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.

· Install Waterlines, Sewer Main and Storm Sewer.

· Experienced with various site conditions such as deep excavations and wet conditions.

· Collaborate with the Foreman to coordinate the daily production plan and with team members to complete projects efficiently.

· Work with the Safety Manager and Crews to create a safe work site.

· Work to keep the project on schedule, meet the specifications and meet the expectations of the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience - At least five to seven years’ operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.

· Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

· Completion of OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course.

· Knowledge of applicable OSHA requirements.

· Able to lift 50 LBS.

· Follow all instructions and company guidelines as indicated by the Site Supervisor.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and safety protocols

· GPS Machine control is a plus.

Pay: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
