Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager at Galvin's Restaurant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, providing leadership to staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, hospitality-focused professional with a passion for food, beverage, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures, including ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct periodic inspections to assess the quality of food preparation, customer service, and employee job performance.
Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including but not limited to waitstaff, kitchen personnel, and bartenders.
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve personnel issues as they arise.
- Coordinate schedules, assign duties, and ensure optimal staffing levels.
Customer Service:
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high levels of service quality and addressing customer complaints effectively.
- Develop strong relationships with regular guests and VIP clients.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and make necessary improvements.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Analyze financial reports and identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional events, social media campaigns, and other strategies to attract customers.
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and make recommendations for business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Must have or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, such as food safety certification.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
