Position Summary: Responsible for consistently providing a clean and well-maintained public area for each of our guests before they arrive and during their visit to include areas of lobby, rest room, entrance, and any others as delegated by supervisor.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning assigned public areas in accordance with standards
- Replenishing amenities and supplies in assigned public areas as needed and stocking and supporting housekeeping carts and caddies
- Reporting any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately
- Acknowledging and greeting all guests in corridors and all other public access areas
- Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
- Deep clean tiled, concrete and vinyl floors and stairs and shampoo carpets as needed
- Clean elevators
- Use cleaning equipment as needed such as buffers for waxing and stripping of floors
- Use pressure washers as needed and as directed
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping and or janitorial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able work in a fast-pace environment.
