What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Account Coordinator position at Garage Team Mazda?

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Global Account Coordinator works as a part of the team to facilitate the strategic alignment of Mazda’s marketing strategy, generate efficiency, eliminate redundancies and create synergy across the global markets, to support the mission and vision of Mazda Corporate and the regions. Having direct client contact with both local and Japan-based clients, the Global Account Coordinator supports the day-to-day activities of the account team and serves as administrative and traffic support. This role is involved in the team's development of a Social Media Center of Excellence for the Americas, a Global Social Media Playbook, and Content Packs (strategic recommendations and content sourcing). Additionally, they will manage the coordination of global assets between international markets and must become a knowledgeable user of the global content and asset tools.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Asset Request Management
    • Support team and oversee day-to-day coordination of global asset requests to secure usage rights and coordinate the delivery of files.
    • Manage log of all global asset requests, and their production value, for monthly ROI calculations and annual summary reporting.
  • Social Media and CMP
    • Assist with development of Social Media CoE process and principles, including Global Workshop and Playbook.
    • Assist with sharing of social media best practices.
    • Develop competitive audits for internal and global sharing.
    • Curate existing Influencer content and UGC.
    • Support the auditing of media and technology tools, their current usage and success rate, and in the determination of which tools have the greatest global opportunity.
  • Meeting Support
    • Attend ongoing integration meetings internally and with various markets, to provide support and departmental updates.
    • Lead agenda development for weekly internal team status meeting and integration meeting with Gabriel and Team Cosmo.
  • Admin Duties
    • Open and close Quarterly International Billing Jobs
    • Initiate the development and tracking of estimates and timelines for all projects
    • Manage Billing Summaries
    • Facilitate archiving of final production/meeting materials
    • Schedule meetings, conference calls and meeting rooms for the team
    • Document meeting notes/next steps and client decisions/approvals
    • Support team with expense reports

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proactively
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) and Google Docs
  • A passion for social media and participation in automotive enthusiast culture
