What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo position at Garden Catering?
Position Overview :
- As a FOH (Front of House) Team Member, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our valued customers. You’ll treat guests like old friends;
- warmly welcoming them in, taking care of their every need, and ensuring a positive dining experience. You’ll work as both Cashier and Expediter;
answering phones, helping customers with catering orders, packing up orders when they’re ready, and keeping the restaurant clean, stocked, and organized.
Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service. Ensure that every guest, every time, leaves happier than when they arrived.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle financial transactions accurately; keep our registers secure.
- Answer customer inquiries about our menu, suggestively upsell our specials and address customer concerns courteously.
- Prepare and assemble orders according to established recipes and procedures.
- Collaborate kindly with your team to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role in the food industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and follow instructions diligently.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
