Job Responsibilities:

• A gardener who can see three dimensionally to be proficient in pruning.
• A strong knowledge of local plant material.
• A talent for color and plant composition.
• Good organizational skills.
• A commitment to and understanding of the work.

• Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs and hedges.
• Trimming and picking flowers and cleaning flower beds.
• Good understanding of landscape maintenance and equipment.
• Give priority to customer service
• Properly installing of and caring for plant materials, including dead-heading, technical pruning, watering and fertilizing.
• Controlling weeds in plant bed and keeping beds clean of leaves and debris
• Determining appropriate plant location based on desired optimal conditions.
• Observance of standard horticultural practices.
• Promote safety and maintain a safe work environment.
• This is an active position requiring stamina to work outside with a team, as well as independently.
• This position includes working at and on both high end residential and commercial job sites completing work.
• The employee will encounter varying temperatures and noise levels from these areas.
• The employee will be exposed to the normal noise levels associated with power driven equipment.

Education:

• High school graduation or GED equivalent required

Job Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience completing all types of landscape maintenance work individually and by coordinating the daily job activity of other workers to get the job done.
• Valid driver's license

Pay Frequency:

• Bi-Weekly

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (7:15 am - 4:00 pm)
• Some overtime
• Occasional Saturdays
