WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:
- Process daily orders, issue job numbers and enter the job number into inventory.
- Document customer notes in ERP.
- Provide all departments with details pertinent to a customer’s order.
- Cross-train with other Inside Sales staff to allow for department efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve customers’ inquiries concerning merchandise, service, billing and shipping.
- Interact with Sales personnel regarding recommendations for merchandise exchanges, refunds to credit accounts.
- Answer inquires and obtain information for general public, customers and employees.
- Prepare quotes for Regional Sales Managers (RSM) when they are traveling.
- Follow up with RSM on quotes you have created.
- Enter and track customer & quote information in CRM.
- Send quotes to customers upon completion.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
- BS degree preferred with emphasis in business administration or accounting, or equivalent work experience, three to five years customer service in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, not required
- Strong organizational, communication, personal computer, and ERP related software skills.
- Must be able to maintain good relationships and practice good phone etiquette with customers.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and maintain excellent rapport with customers.
- Must have ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Must have knowledge of all office machines and equipment including switchboard system
DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- This position will be based in our Lincoln, NE facility.
- The working hours of this position is from 8 am to 5 pm Central time.
