Minimum Experience: Minimum six months experience preferred. Maturity, alertness, and good judgment in emergencies is essential. Job requires good communication and telephone skills. Ability to use cell phones and long range pagers. Microsoft word and excel.
Required Certification/Registration:
Physical Demands: Constant sitting, reaching, stretching; occasional standing. May be exposed to stressful situations.
Working Conditions: Close working quarters, inability to leave post unless relieved. Holidays required may be assigned. May be assigned other shifts as needed.
Interrelationships: Constant telephone contact with persons inside and outside the Hospital. Ability to answer and handle multiple calls. Central point for emergency codes with 100% accuracy. All calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance
