The Supply Place inside Garrett Ace Hardware is looking for a outdoor power equipment sales and parts specialist. Are you ready to love coming to work everyday? Come join our team!
The primary responsibilities of The Supply Place associates are:
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers by listening, identifying their needs and responding with solutions and product recommendations.
- Sell, start and show customers how to use outdoor power equipment.
- Identify equipment and use a computer to look up illustrated parts listings, identify and order parts for customers.
- Support the small engine mechanics through parts ordering and organization.
- Accurately take and fulfill customer orders both in person and over the phone.
- Safely operate shop equipment such as saws, grinders and other power equipment.
- Assembly of merchandise to be displayed in store.
- This is a entry level position with the opportunity to learn and advance into small engine mechanics.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a strong willingness to learn.
- Outdoor power equipment experience preferred, but we are willing to train.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Must be able to move and stand for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift, move and handle up to 50 pounds frequently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
