**Primary Responsibilities:**
1. Open/close shop: Ensure security by turning on/off alarm, operate necessary systems such as generator and heating.
2. Prepare the showroom: Ensure the display of lawn mowers, snow blowers, and other equipment. Organize the front desk, check inventory, and manage order boards.
3. Equipment Registration: Register newly sold equipment with relevant companies and maintain internal inventory logs.
4. Customer Communication: Contact customers regarding completed work orders, delivery arrangements, and equipment pickups.
5. Sales & Support: Assist customers with parts ordering, new equipment sales, and equipment registrations.
6. Inventory & Delivery Checks: Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and liaise with suppliers regarding discrepancies.
7. Shop Supplies: Maintain and order necessary office and shop supplies.
8. Administrative Tasks: Track owned trucks' details, maintain lists of snow plow workers, process banking transactions, and manage contacts on the company system.
9. Seasonal Tasks: Adjust showroom for seasonal needs and manage specific tasks such as snow plowing during winters.
10. Facility Management: Address any issues with shop facilities, including liaising with service providers.
11. Waste Management: Oversee the disposal of items like cardboard, pallets, and oil.
12. Assist Mechanics: Provide assistance to mechanics in various tasks including lifting or holding parts.
13. Customer Service: Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor with customers, representing the company in the best light.
