Job Posting for Clinical Development and Strategy Manager at Gateway Pediatric Therapy
Responsible for building and coordinating all Behavior Technician weekly schedules, ensuring client clinical needs are satisfied.
Coordinates with human resources to manage technician work availability including planned and unplanned absences.
Uses sounds judgment to match technician attributes to client needs, understand client level of acuity and preferences in human resource allocation.
Stay attuned to client situations to anticipate needs and proactively intervene when compatibility issues may jeopardize client’s care or continued relationship with Gateway.
Coordinate with clinical staff, including Behavior Consultants (BCs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Clinical Directors (CDs) to fulfill client scheduling needs.
Appropriately, timely, and positively handles client and employee outreach and coordination of services.
Maintain client direct therapy schedule based upon authorized hours from insurance payor, maintains integrity of client-service continuation.
Makes determination and recommendations on viability of client continuing therapy.
Ensure that the development and ongoing maintenance of all scheduling activities adheres to Gateway standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy.
Provide disciplinary feedback and action to Behavior Technicians, up to and including termination.
Exercise independent judgment to proactively examine and troubleshoot client situations to ensure provision of high quality level of services.
Monitor clinic capacity levels and engage in collaborative actions to ensure appropriate resource management.
Exercise discretion and independent management of client services based upon Gateway policies and procedures, and in accordance with Gateway organizational philosophy/mission.
Oversee and maintain accurate and organized client and employee notes, data, and reports for internal and external processes.
Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and with Gateway policies and procedures manual.
Work cooperatively and courteously with internal staff and outside stakeholders including school personnel and administration, and outside service providers.
Coordinates with Senior Management on day to day clinical operational issues.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience/Qualifications:
At least 6 months prior experience as a Behavior Technician for Gateway Pediatric Therapy
Previous customer service experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) knowledge and application

Ability to make decisions under pressure

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical demands:
Hearing, and vision in order to operate phone, computer and facsimile.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
