ROLE:
The Social Media and Community Builder will own all social, influencer and community management initiatives to build relationships and drive pipeline and sales with focus on DTC brands. Your mission is to increase fandom and loyalty to Gator’s brands and build a community of Gator advocates and ambassadors. You should be passionate about Gator, its community, and products, and we want you to bring that passion in your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting to and collaborating with the VP, Marketing & Business Development, strategize, implement, and manage all social and community management plans with clear KPI’s for Gator’s family of brands
- Own and optimize all social channels
- Analyze and identify community growth opportunities and launch community management strategy with vision, objectives, KPI’s and action plans
- Design, execute, and optimize influencer marketing strategies, including Artist Relations program
- Be the voice of Gator, lead engaging conversations and address questions and comments
- Using data insights, design and execute weekly campaigns with content calendars and performance reporting for all brands
- Compile and analyze data to deploy tactics and content that attracts, engages, and retains fans
- Provide additional content and asset creation support
- Research and stay updated on best practices, new trends and technologies
- Act as social and community-building SME to educate co-workers as Gator brand ambassadors
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional team members, including Content, Product Management, eComm, Customer Service
- Insights reporting, including KPI’s, reviews and feedback on social and community platforms
MUST-HAVES:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, especially social and influencer, 1 year of community management
- Experience or background in music industry
- Customer and public relations skills
- Reputation management skills
- Campaign management experience, including budget planning
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing funnel strategy
- Cross-functional collaborative experience
- Critical, creative, strategic and challenger thinking

- Strong communications, presentation, and reporting skills
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Graphic and visual design skills a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, PR or similar
