POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all items produced in the art department. All work must be free of errors and set-up to print as efficiently as possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Final QC of all work before leaving art department
- Check all digital and plate files for accuracy
- Create Design Plans
- Proof-reading back-up
- Digital color management/ job file creation
- Back-up Plate Maker/File Clerk as needed
- Support the Business System
- Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements)
- Basic PC skills, experience with Outlook and Excel
- Understanding of flexographic printing process
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to get along well with others
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater
