Job Title : Accounting Clerk - Billing

Position Summary

The Accounting Clerkt will be responsible for facilitating and handling the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, payment processing, and accounts receivable management.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Assisting with basic billing tasks such as data entry, invoice generation, and payment processing.
• Perform billing tasks including invoicing, accounts receivable management, and billing reconciliation.
• Generate and send accurate invoices to clients or customers in a timely manner.
• Record and reconcile payments received, applying them to customer accounts accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
• Address billing inquiries and resolve customer concerns or disputes promptly and professionally.
• Verify billing details such as product or service descriptions, quantities, prices, and terms.
• Reconcile billing records with financial statements and accounting systems to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and customer service to resolve billing-related issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
• Prepare billing reports, analyses, and summaries as needed for management or regulatory purposes.
• Stay updated on billing regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure compliance.

• High School diploma or GED
• Degree in Accounting of Finance preferred.

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
