Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the organization's HR functions and ensuring compliance with employment labor law. The role involves managing HR processes, developing training programs, and communicating with employees at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and experience with HRIS systems.
Duties:
- Utilize HRIS systems, including Taleo and Oracle, to manage employee data, track benefits, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Provide support and guidance to employees, addressing conflicts and ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct new hire orientations and onboard new employees.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment labor law.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and screening applications.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans for employee retention and engagement.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including those related to benefits, compensation, and employment law.
- Utilize UltiPro to manage payroll, benefits, and other HR functions.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for HR initiatives.
- Provide HR support for company-wide events and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Proven knowledge of employment labor law and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems, including Taleo and Oracle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.
- Experience with training development and delivery.
- Certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
- Familiarity with UltiPro and Paychex HR software.
- Experience in conflict management and resolution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
