Job Description
CAD / CAFM Drafter
- Attend meetings as required to support space management staff.
- Assist in the development of space planning documents and exhibits to support the PSC organization.
- Maintain and procure CAFM production materials as required to support facilities program team.
- Maintain an accurate repository of as-built drawing documents of PSC-managed space and as-built /CAFM drawing documents of HHS space within the SW complex and satellite offices.
- Manage the repair and servicing of CAD and CAFM production equipment as required.
- Provide CAD and CAFM support for construction design intent and furniture Installations.
- Maintain accuracy of CAD and CAFM drawings by conducting site surveys, processing updates from A/E-furniture vendors-HHS PM's.
- Provide customer service functions for drawing print-outs, email PDF's, poster board construction, signage, key-control drawings, rent update drawings, floor plan book submittals, event support, safety and environment project support, and special space planning projects.
- Survey, calculate and provide utilization rate (UR) requirement assessment of all new space designs.
- Assist with CAD upload into Department asset management system, verification of rent calculations, and drawing Support.
- Maintain updates of software packages, manage and document equipment (plotters-printers-scanners-desktop computers) and network repair requests, process supply purchases for the office.
- Assist project managers with document drawing, printing, and formatting.
- Utilize AutoCAD for design and duties as assigned.
- Ability to complete and pass an in-depth background check
