Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- As the 1st Shift Operations Leader, you will have oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
- Managing front-line manufacturing employees in safety, quality, and production.
- Own front-line manufacturing employee’s safety.
- Schedule front-line manufacturing employees daily.
- Expected to work with team to trouble shoot and resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
- Works together with people from the business unit.
- Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities, and giving explanations on technical issues.
- Communicates with direct team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
- Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed.
- Own continuous improvement and lean improvement projects for your area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
- Minimum of 2 years of previous leadership / supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

- This position is 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY

Pay Transparency:
The base pay range for this position is $76,600-128,100.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. Expected close date from career site is 11/02/23 or once a contender is identified.
