This role will provide HR business partnership to functional clients, including Financial Services, Growth Markets, Strategic Marketing and Consulting Services, within the GE Vernova Corporate organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide HR leadership globally for Financial Services, Growth Markets, Strategic Marketing and Consulting Services. Provide effective HR partnership to global employees while establishing strong working relationships with leaders and support the strategic direction of the function in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning
Champion talent priorities and own and lead HR people agenda in support of the function (may include but not limited to bowler metrics for retention/attrition, diversity, etc.)
Envision, socialize, and deploy organizational design and effectiveness solutions. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Leader for Corporate Finance, Business Development and Strategy to develop solutions, programs and practices including but not limited to engagement, talent development, succession planning and retention
Promote a culture and environment that embodies our leadership behaviors of acting with humility, leading with transparency and delivering with focus across the organization
Coach and counsel leaders through organizational changes, challenges and opportunities
Partner horizontally across the global HR team to implement HR people agenda and drive consistent HR practices
Develop and implement learning and development framework for client area
Partner with other HR and functional colleagues(s) on engagement and culture activities
Collaborate with HR Business Partners & Human Resources Partners to identify special projects and initiatives to support development of the team
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent knowledge or experience from an accredited college or university
Significant experience in human resources positions, staff and/or client based
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface at all organizational levels
Desired Characteristics:
Master’s Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Business Administration or Human Resources
An impact player with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner
Resourceful, innovative, persuasive
Experience in organizational design work and talent development efforts or emphasis on HR leadership/people strategies, coaching, employee solutions
Experience applying lean tools to improving operations
An inclusive style and superior interpersonal skills at all levels. Experience working with senior leadership teams in a business and human resources
Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills across all levels
Proven success in working in highly dynamic and matrixed organizations
