The Government Pricing Analyst is responsible for delivering cost-based proposals to our USG government customers that are timely, compliant, of the highest quality. Additionally, the Pricing Analyst will be required to complete a risk assessment to ensure the proposal is financially beneficial to the Aerospace business and fair and reasonable to the customer. Seasoned, customer focused individuals with in-depth understanding of financial deal analysis & federal acquisition guidelines. Additionally, as a Government Pricing Analyst, key responsibilities will include:
Support deal team in the conversion of active opportunities into future orders
Participate in continuous improvement through the application of LEAN
Collaborate with leadership, internal stakeholder and cost contributors to develop optimal proposals GE Aerospace and its customers
Engage with business teams to ensure alignment in deal methodologies and contract interpretation
Develop proposal variance analytics to better demonstrate our cost basis with our government customers while driving deal velocity
Prepare proposal documents as well as review packages for complex contracting agreements
Engage with cost contributors and other experts within the business to develop cost estimates for use in proposal response
Support initiatives to improve functional execution and efficiency
Provide advice and guidance on contracting strategies that will improve business performance and risk management
Support compliance activities including internal and external audit efforts
Support and drive completion of and response to internal and external audits including root cause investigations and corrective action plan development and execution.
Drive conformity to Government Pricing requirements, and industry practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED. The candidate should also have at least 2 years of experience in finance, sourcing, government contracting or similar field.

Desired Characteristics
Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry.
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and training skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver and support business objectives in operational environments (supply chain, engineering, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex operational/process issues and work across organizational boundaries.
Knowledge of lean process improvement and application of change acceleration techniques, attention to detail and process oriented.
Ability to prioritize activities and demonstrate initiative to follow-through to completion.
Working knowledge of disposal of Government property including demilitarization requirements or aptitude to learn
Knowledge of US Government Procurement or Property regulations or aptitude to learn.
The salary range for this position is 98,000.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
