This role will lead a HR team of ~6 HR Managers and is responsible for providing HR support for professional and production employees in the Evendale aircraft engine development & manufacturing site of 1,100 union IAM / UAW associates. In addition, this role will serve as the HRBP for Services Technology Acceleration Center (STAC) and Commercial Engine Services (CES) Business Systems Operations. Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide HR leadership and support for the manufacturing operations at our headquarters site and act as a member of the site leadership team driving strategy and key metrics.
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for the STAC and CES Business Systems Operations and provide partnership and support to the leaders while also supporting a client population.
- Develop and drive a comprehensive employee and labor relations strategy considering business realities and using real time data and analytics.
- Act as an organizational and lean champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexities and partners with clients to maximize team performance and embed a contemporary organizational culture
- Provide leadership to the HR team, delivering appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities, communicating proactively, and ensuring HR team engagement, retention, and growth.
- Provide leadership coaching at multiple levels of the organization, assisting in development of contemporary leadership skills
- Strategically lead business and HR team through critical HR operating rhythms such as talent review, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, salary planning, and performance management.
- Lead and facilitate change management strategies and activities to drive a contemporary business and culture.
- Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent in partnership with the HR team
- Lead and /or support Aerospace wide HR initiatives or functional projects as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years of experience leading in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Direct experience with union relations in a supply chain environment.
- Experience leading HR teams
