The purpose of SRG is to build and continually strengthen an ethical, sustainable, and transparent global supply chain and establish clear social and environmental responsibility requirements for suppliers.
The Supplier Responsibility Strategy & Governance EHS leader will report to the EHS Strategy and Governance Leader and will oversee and continually improve the supplier onboarding and audit processes to manage compliance with the SRG program across our global supply chain.
Job Description
What you’ll do
Oversee our rigorous, risk-based auditing program to assess a new supplier’s conformance to our SRG requirements prior to onboarding.
Monitor the continued compliance and improvement of suppliers through thorough on-site audits – lead the SRG audit plan process.
Undertake monitoring and analysis of SRG compliance and contribute to revisions of our SRG program to ensure it effectively addresses the evolving challenges and risks in our supply chain.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, especially sourcing and sustainability specialists, to translate customer supply chain sustainability requirements into our sourcing process.
Develop relevant procedures and processes to support ESG reporting related to supply chain, including the areas of EHS compliance and carbon data.
Contribute to relevant GE supplier initiatives to promote social, environmental, health and safety standards and drive carbon and resource initiatives within our supplier community.
Contribute to relevant GE Supplier initiatives to support human rights
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
Significant experience in EHS, SRG and/or Sustainability
Fluent English language knowledge
What will make you stand out
Post graduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Strong experience with Chemical Management (export and import) would be a plus.
Understands Ethical, Environmental, and Social Responsibility and the relation with supply chain.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $128,900.00 - 214,800.00 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 3/20/2024.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
