We are current recruiting for a remote credentialed coding Project Manager with 3-5 years’ experience in Profeessional Fee Coding in addition to any formal training. The coding Project Manager reports directly to the Coding Manger and works with the coding and quality team to ensure all industry and client-specific guidelines are followed with high quality, meeting turn around times dictated by the contract with the client. This is a W-2 employee, benefit eligible position working from your home office.

Target Salary is USD $63,000.00/Yr plus full paid company benefits (medical, dental, vision) and 28 paid days off your first year (8 holidays and 18 PTO days).
Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients following established processing, collaborating with the appropriate functions to ensure a successful launch
- Manage work queues and ensure they are clear, encounters are in right status, and provides feedback to Senior Coding Manager as appropriate
- Manage coder schedules on project
- Monthly metrics and other reporting as needed and directed by management
- Review of client piece reporting vs. employee reported pieces
- Assist in QA in select situations and perform some coding production work as needed
Qualifications
- AAPC or AHIMA Certification (RHIA, RHIT, CEMC, CPC, CCS) medical coding certification required
- More than five (3) years’ experience in Professional Fee Coding, supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to accurately review and assign all ICD/CPT/HCPCS and modifiers for Professional Fee services (EM, Surgery, Multi-specialsty)
- Experience working in Epic perferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and Anatomy and Physiology
- Knowledge of pertinent reimbursement systems
- Possess strong leadership qualities of integrity, the ability to motivate others and the ability to promote quality
- This is a client facing role. Individual must have the ability to present and communicate with varying levels of client's management team
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must
- Ability to work remotely and be a self starter
- Ability to train and mentor coders on various client projects and various specialties
- Ability to interpret and apply industry and client specific coding rules and guidelines
- Understanding of medical records content, format and other pertinent procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
