Primary Care E/M Coders - part time

We are hiring now and have an immediate need for part time Primary Care E/M Coders.
Responsibilities
This position will provide high quality primary care E/M coding a minimum of 20 hours weekly. Coder will be responsible for reviewing charts in an assigned EPIC Charge review WQ and identifying appropriate CPT, Modifier and ICD-10 codes. Work includes Office and Hospital based E/M along with ancillary services in that setting. You must be up to date on updated E/M guidelines for both settings. Coder must maintain Quality of 95% and productivity standards for the service line (currently 16-20 encounters per hour). Candidate must have previous EPIC experience-training unique to the client workflows will still take place, but it will be from a workflow perspective and not a system training. Once you pass QA, scheduling is semi Flexible as long as you remain in good standing with the project. This means you will indicate how many hours you can work each day of work. Those hours can be worked at any time of day and in as many shifts as you choose, as long as the hours are completed by the end of the day. We do ask that at least half of your hours are worked Monday-Friday. Work will be completed virtually and must be of high quality. The coder may need to be available during the trainer’s business hours for training.
Qualifications
- Current CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
- EPIC experience is required
- Must have at least two years of active E/M coding experience for primary care.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain a 95% accuracy rate
- Inpatient and outpatient E/M pro-fee coding experience is required
