GEICO Technology Solutions Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team has an opportunity for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer. Our department owns complex, mission critical systems on Salesforce eco system. As an Engineer, you will work in a highly collaborative environment and will be responsible for setting up and managing the CRM environments; implement security and policies; and provide administration, monitoring, development, and user support. Position Responsibilities:
You are an independent problem-solver who is self-directed and capable of exhibiting deftness to handle multiple simultaneous challenging priorities and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
* Provide incident resolution for all technical production issues.
* Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation reflecting configuration, and responsible for writing justifications, training peers on complex topics, documenting procedures.
* Provide guidance to improve the stability, security, efficiency and scalability of systems.
* Determine future needs for capacity and investigate new products and/or features.
* Strong troubleshooting ability to isolate issues and resolve root cause through investigative analysis in environments.
* Administer and ensure the proper execution of the backup systems.
* Provide 24x7 on-call support to handle urgent critical issues.
Required Skills:
* Well versed with the Salesforce org types and working experience with multiple teams and parallel development environment
* 2 years of supporting Salesforce or cloud hosted applications
* Monitor production, staging, test and development environments for number of applications in an agile and dynamic organization.
* Should be highly proactive with a keen focus on improving uptime availability of our critical services
* Good command on the version control tools including but not limited to GIT.
* Have a passion for automation by creating tools using Python, Java or Bash
* Expertise in configuration management (such as Ansible, Salt) for deploying, configuring, and managing servers and systems
* Experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines
* Strong expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues
* Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
* Must possess a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and motivation
* Ability to conduct performance analysis and solve large scale distributed systems
* Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while continuously evaluating emerging technologies
Additional Requirements:
* Good understanding on the Salesforce architecture, terminologies, components, releases, and version propagation.
* Good understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds
* Experience with Kubernetes, or another container orchestration framework
* Experience with Azure service Bus, ADOs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, PL-300, DP-900.

Annual Salary
$72,000.00 - $185,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
