What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Engineer - Workday (Remote) position at GEICO?
GEICO is searching for a Workday Senior Engineer to Design, Develop, Implement and Maintain solutions within Workday Reporting and/or Integration function in an Agile Environment. As a Senior Engineer you will manage the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of custom Workday reports and/or integrations, dashboards in alignment with the organization's programs, goals, and data security framework. You will analyze business requirements and capabilities for advanced data visualization and reporting. Build custom reports and/or integrations within the Workday tenant and handle Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) activities. You will also develop complex calculated fields to meet business requirements, partner with internal customers to ensure data and security consistency across all reporting platforms. Along with, collaborate with workday Managers, Principal Engineers and the other workday functional areas on any data requirements that would require the use of standard and custom reports and/or integrations within Workday. As a Senior Engineer you will mentor junior team members and create SOP, share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
*3 years of Workday Financial or HCM reporting and/or integration experience.
*Understanding of Workday Data Governance and reporting and/or integration processes, procedures, and best practices
*Excellent organizational and time management skills
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
*Strong attention to details.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Prism, Studio and Advanced Calculated Fields Knowledge
*Experience with other business intelligence tools such as Power BI and the Microsoft Office suite, including MS project.
*Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude

Annual Salary
$72,000.00 - $204,500.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
Salary : $72,000 - $204,500
