What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Sales Manager position at Gem Mazda of Tallahassee?

Gem Mazda of Tallahassee has a opening for a Sales Manager that has at least 2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience; Finance Manager experience is required! This individual will need to be experienced and comfortable using a variety of dealership management systems. Must be proficient in appraising, desking, closing, and F&I. The personal and financial rewards for the right individual are unlimited with one of the fasted growing luxury performance brands.You will be working in a brand new retail evolution facility with a large sales territory where the closest Mazda dealership is 2 hours away in any direction.

You will be responsible for the operations and profitability of the New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Departments, including Finance Department. You also will be responsible for creating and implementing employee and customer friendly processes. As the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to hire, train, supervise, monitor the performance and compliance of the Sales Department, and assist Sales Consultants with customer transactions.

Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to ensuring the Sales Department understands and implements the dealerships policies, procedures, and systems while working closely with the General Manager perfecting these policies, procedures, and systems.

We are ONLY looking for an experienced candidate with a proven track record as a Automotive Sales Manager.

  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Facilitate regular sales meetings for continuous team growth
  • Ability to analyze technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
